Prompt:

Here at Russell & Hill, PLLC, we’ve taken notice of the electric scooters that have been popping up in our local communities and throughout the country. For some, e-scooters are fun, economical and Earth-conscious modes of transportation. Critics, however, have concerns about public safety, law enforcement and vandalism. Where do you stand on the controversial e-scooter debate? What responsibilities do e-scooter companies, riders, local law enforcement agencies, city governments and the public-at-large have if e-scooters are to remain a viable option in our communities? This debate has garnered plenty of recent media attention, so use examples to defend your stance in your choice of a 500-word written essay or a two-minute video essay.
