Amy Brown is a personal injury attorney focusing on maritime injuries. Amy previously practiced maritime personal injury defense, gaining invaluable experience and insight into how employers and their insurers handle maritime injury claims.
Before attending law school, Amy was a crew-member on ships operating in Alaska, Mexico and the Columbia River. With her maritime experience, Amy understands the unique dangers of working at sea. When injured, maritime workers face a complex maze of laws, including the Jones Act, general maritime law, unseaworthiness, and maintenance and cure. As an attorney, she enjoys helping seamen who have been injured at work navigate these laws and ensuring they receive the benefits and compensation they are entitled to.
Amy completed undergraduate studies at Washington State University before graduating with honors from Seattle University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Washington before state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
